THE MAKE IT HAPPEN AWARD SUPPORTING LOCAL BUSINESSWOMEN

The Club introduced the annual Make it Happen Award in 1996 to provide a management sponsorship initiative to offer support for women seeking management training to help take their next career step. An annual award valued at £500 is available for women who demonstrate a genuine interest in becoming managers but who needed financial support to achieve this. The criteria is for applicants to be female, live or work in Swindon, have been out of full time education for a minimum of 10 years, can demonstrate that funding cannot be obtained from other sources and must have the basic qualification to undertake the course chosen. The successful applicant will be provided with membership of the Club for one year together with a mentoring programme from the current club membership.

Is 2010 the year when you
will “Make It Happen”?

.
If you are a woman living or working in Swindon who wants
to further your career, get that promotion, set up your own
business or choose a new career path we can help you.
.
The SBBC “Make It Happen Award” provides financial
support of £500 towards training, free membership of the
group for 1 year and the support of a Mentor to help you
“Make It Happen”
